“Claudia Ressel-Hodan”
on November 3rd (or when you vote by mail).
Please see my experience below.
I’m a write-in candidate. Thus, I won’t appear on the ballot.
I really need your help spreading the word about my candidacy and need you to write me in. Make me one of your three choices .Please share this message widely!
Candidate Statement:
I have the experience to understand the issues, the determination to complete important projects, and the willingness to listen to residents.
I have proven these qualities in the positions I have already served.
I believe in making decisions based on what residents want and need—no personal agendas.
My goal is to help move projects from discussion to completion while being responsible with village resources.

Grandfather John Kinney brought his family to Pentwater in 1920 when he took a job with the Pere Marquette,
He is pictured here with the lantern, which has now been donated to the museum.
They lived in the Village at the end of 2nd Street.
My mother, Bernadette Kinney, was raised in Pentwater and went to Pentwater Public Schools until 7th grade, when they moved to Milwaukee after the railroad ended in Pentwater.

In 1977, my parents, Ed and Bernie Ressel, left Milwaukee and came to Pentwater to retire.
Both parents were very involved at the old Friendship Center, enjoying lunches and playing in the kazoo band.
My father was in Catholic Knights, sang in the church choir and West Shore choir.
My mother Bernadette"Bernie" helped migrent workers with clothing and helped at the church.

In April of 2014, my husband Jerry and I left Florida to retire in Pentwater. Yes, you read that correctly- left Florida for Pentwater, year-round!
Jerry enjoyed playing in the civic band until his vision loss advanced. He loves it here and can just sit and enjoy nature. I also enjoy being outside, and you can find me at the beach or on a bike trail.
